By SRM hosted the inaugural session of Sh. Atmasiddhi Shastra on the 3rd February 2023, marking Sri Guru’s first Satsang since the Annual Meet in Dec 2022. Clad in color and full of intense devotion, SRM seekers assembled at the Seva Sansthan Hall in Delhi to attend the solemn return of the Shastra.
Hailed by devotees as Shrimadji’s magnum opus, Sh. Atmasiddhi Shastra spans 142 verses that motivate us to seek the highest attainment for this human life – Moksha (liberation). Not only does it help rid the misconceptions around Moksha, but also lays down a clear path to actualise it.
Sri Guru’s affinity for Sh. Atmasiddhi is one that cannot be missed. Over the years, the Master has sung immense praises of this poetic marvel, drawing from its teachings on numerous occasions. To everyone’s astonishment, Sri Guru announced that this new series marks the 7th time she has propounded on Sh. Atmasiddhi!
SRM entered the current rendition with a special ritual of Atmasiddhi Archana, joined by all attendees including SwaRaj Kriya leaders and Dhyan Sangha host families. What better way to revere and welcome such a pious moment!
Adding to the auspicious start, Sri Guru talked about three important things we must understand as we celebrate the Shastra’s arrival:
- Bhaav, acknowledging the Guru’s endless compassion that holds the power to transform entire humankind;
- Mahima, praising the Shastra’s ability to break one’s cycle of transmigration; and
- Ahobhaav, revering the blissful state which conveyed the wisdom of all scriptures, with such simplicity and clarity.
For all Sadhaks, time stood still as Sri Guru began to speak on Sh. Atmasiddhi. Being the premier scripture that has guided her own journey to enlightenment, its learnings are invaluable. Each word invokes wonder and every verse inspires deep thought. This is why the Master advised all seekers to dedicate some time daily, in quiet contemplation of the Shastra’s teachings.
