Lord Ram is perceived as a model of precise reason, right action, and supreme virtues. If we carefully look through, every instance and every action of His life was a reflection of this righteousness. Developing these virtues within is not ambitious thinking, but a direct consequence of a pure conscience, just as Lord Ram’s. From a very young age, the fruits of detachment had ripened within Shri Ram. This detachment wasn’t a result of depression or helplessness, but it emerged from a clear understanding of the transient world and the eternal nature of Self. However, such understanding takes careful introspection, complemented with the grace and guidance of a Guru.
