During the Paryushan Parv 2022, Sri Guru introduced us to Veer Katha – a series of inspiring stories from Lord Mahaveer’s life journey towards the exalted state of Tirthankara.
Born as Vardhmana to King Siddhartha and Queen Trishala, the journey of Lord Mahavira to become one of the most revered spiritual entities in human history is full of invaluable learnings. According to Jain scriptures, He took 27 previous births before attaining enlightenment and becoming the 24th Tirthankara, to bring about a revolution in the world of religion and spirituality. The Veer Katha series by Sri Guru is an opportunity to take a closer look at the Lord’s illustrious journey toward liberation, to introspect upon the many flaws and shortcomings that kept Him from enlightenment, and to aspire for the many virtues depicted throughout His births.
