By For the first time, the seekers at SRM Delhi came together to celebrate Raj Jayanti on 9th November 2021. In Sri Guru’s pious presence, we commemorated the solemn occasion as Param Krupalu Dev Shrimad Rajchandraji’s 154th birth anniversary. From this year onwards, SRM shall be celebrating Raj Jayanti on 9th November annually.
- The evening was dedicated to express our reverence towards Shrimadji’s unending Grace that continues to direct countless seekers across the world on their spiritual journey.
- In Sri Guru’s own words, “Whenever a Sadguru is born, that entire place of birth attains an unprecedented purity. The arrival of a Sadguru amplifies the seekers’ progress on the journey to liberation. Such is their Yogbal (strength in their divine presence), that they give rise to new Guru-Chetna for generations to come!”
- Further in the event, Sri Guru shared how Shrimadji’s lively presence in the form of His Vachanamrut, Mudra and Yogbal served as an anchor and shaped every aspect of her journey. We reverently listened to Sri Guru read an excerpt from her upcoming book Shri Atmasiddhi Shastra Vivechan, narrating how she aligned with Shrimadji’s path, which later transformed into Love & Devotion towards her Guru. We were elated to know how with every subsequent phase of her life, Sri Guru reached nearer to her inner Self.
- Through anecdotes from her life, Sri Guru explained how Shrimadji bestowed 4 distinct Upkaars (blessings). A Guru’s presence fills a seeker’s life with these four major blessings, which gradually leads to absolute transformation:
- Vichaar Upkaar: for refining and guiding our thoughts with Vivek (the wisdom to discern right from wrong), Virati (a natural detachment from worldly pleasures), Vairagya, and Vishram (a state of effortless repose and peace).
- Vyavahaar Upkaar: for showing the right way to spend every moment of daily life, free from the shackles of Raag-Dwesh (worldly attachments-aversions) and Agyaan (ignorance).
- Atmasiddhi Upkaar: for unveiling the entire Moksha-Marg (path to liberation) within a span of 142 verses of Shri Atmasiddhi Shastra, carrying the eternal wisdom of the Aagamas.
- Vairagya Upkaar: for sowing and nurturing the seeds of Vairagya through Apoorva Avsar Kaavya.
- The event also marked the launch of Raj Katha — a video & podcast series narrated by Sri Guru, consisting of inspiring stories from Shrimadji’s life.
- Led by our beloved master , the SRM Bhakti Team created an ambience of devotion by dedicating a medley of soulful Bhaktis & recitation of Shrimadji’s Padd.
- The blessings that Param Krupalu Dev has had on all of us are countless. As seekers, the least we can do is build our inner-preparedness to experience that limitless Grace. Sri Guru’s passion of explaining her personal journey, and the Love for her Sadguru reflecting in her eyes – it all makes the Path look so much worthwhile to follow. We just need to develop immense Bhakti towards our Guru!
